Symposium held in celebration of Professor Béla Novák's life

On the 9th May 2025 the Department of Biochemistry organised a one-day symposium to serve as a celebration of Professor Béla Novák’s life, his remarkable contributions, and the legacy he leaves behind. This was originally planned as a retirement symposium but following the very sad news of Béla’s passing, in consultation with Béla’s family, we decided to continue with the Symposium as planned as we believe this is a fitting way to honour his memory and bring together those who shared in his work and friendship.
