Postgraduate Students Present Annual Poster Symposium

Our postgraduate students make a huge contribution to the research activities of the Department. This was showcased at our annual Graduate Poster Symposium on April 24, where around 22 final year students presented their research to members of the department. The posters illustrated the breadth of research carried out in the department and prompted much lively discussion during the course of the afternoon. In his closing remarks, Professor Francis Barr, Head of Department, congratulated the students on the high standard of their posters. Best poster prizes were awarded to Irsyad Khairil Anuar, Shanlin Rao and Lisa Rodermund. Thanks go to Cell Signalling Technology and Generon for sponsoring the event, and to the department’s Graduate Advisors, especially Tatyana Nesterova, and Erol Canpunar for organising the event
